Totally off topic. Didn't we have a discussion on here not too long ago about how different parts of the country refer to carbonated beverages. This is a much more detailed map than I have ever seen before.
I know I have seen these maps before (and I know one was posted in the previous discussion), but I have never seen one broken down to the county level.
might as well be a part of Missouri. I mean the whole county seems to be full of hillbillies. Turns out, according to this map, they might as well be a part of Arkansas. Totally explains things for me now.
Now before anyone from Linn County (if they even have the internet there) blasts me for this comment, I apologize. I know there are a few normal people from there.
I was thinking about this the other day after posting this...
so, when I am on vacation and am in an unfamiliar location, I think I will ask for a “soda-pop-cola-coke-carbonated beverage”. That should cover all the bases.

You know, I've always thought that Linn County
