During conference tournament week, "survive and advance" is the name of the game.
IUPUI did precisely that, outlasting Oral Roberts 69-65 in the Summit League Tournament.
Now the Jaguars will play No. 1 seed Oakland for the right to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
If they pull that off, I think you have to say that was a pretty good win for K-State in Kansas City — at least, better than we thought at the time.

I hope ISU wins its first game. Why?
Because then maybe there RPI goes below 100 and our “bad” loss goes away.

I would say ISU can't improve much with a 1st round (hence not Top-4 in conference) victory
but it happens to be against the computer-loved Longhorns. A victory over UT just might be enough to get ISU into the sub-100 RPI range.
However, there is nothing Iowa State can do the rest of this year that would make me consider them not a bad loss. >.<

Or if CU wins again against Tech
It may be enough to boost their RPI sub-100 to give us 2 more good wins. (Even a loss to KU might help their RPI with a boost in their SOS)
