Good readers, I want to apologize. I said that the conclusion would drop today, and it didn't come.
Funny story...I had actually started writing it, and honestly, I liked where it was going. However, last night, before TB and I did a podcast with our good friends at Rock M Nation, my hard drive froze. I spent the better part of six hours trying to recover data and restore my system from Vista's 'Safe Mode'. Believe you me, there's nothing "safe" about Windows Vista, but I digress.
Regardless, one of the casualties of that debacle was losing the work I had already done on the final chapter of the trilogy. In a strange way, the island infected my computer as well.
So, I just wanted to throw an apology out there. I'll be sitting down tomorrow to write the final chapter (again), and hopefully, it will be up on Monday. Please, check back then.
In the meantime, here are the links to the previous chapters for those of you who aren't acquiainted with the story thus far:
If anyone wants to know what I think of Windows Vista, well...
BLIMPTV: MICROSOFT VISTA SUCKS (via BLIMPTV)

Man, we're both slackers today
Technology sucks. Fleas suck harder, though.
But in all seriousness… given the fact that we have Macs at work, and Windows 7 is shaping up to be an even more overblown version of Vista, and Microsoft soon will be discontinuing support for the last good product they ever made (XP), I’m seriously thinking about making my next computer purchase an Apple. And that’s something I NEVER thought I would say… but that’s how hard Microsoft blows now.

oh yeah
Vista sucks.
That is all.

Something is amiss with the BOTC computers
Because the hard drive of my new computer crashed on Thursday (thank God for crackberrys). Yeah, the technician didn’t even give me the option of safe mode. If I were TB, I’d head to a remote island where technology isn’t necessary nor convenient.

I don't know about a remote island...
…but I will be going on my honeymoon soon, and thus will be leaving unnecessary communication devices behind.
TB - August 8, 2009
You better be leaving the necessary ones behind too.
There are 3 things you do on a honeymoon…and communicating ain’t one of ’em.
MadCat - August 9, 2009
Well, some psychologists say it is a FORM of communication
Ba-dum-bum-SPLASH
Have fun on the ’moon, TB. And keep an eye out for Hawkeyes. LOL

Fun fact...
When we went out on our honeymoon, we did take our cell phones. Since we were on a cruise ship, it really didn’t matter because there aren’t cell phone towers off of Baja Mexico, but when we flipped open my wife’s phone, it said, “Cingular at Sea”.
My guess is that there was communication with a tower somewhere, but I always thought that was cool. They had that programmed in there in the event you turned on your phone at sea.
Pointless anecdote aside, have a happy honeymoon.
