  • The KC Star has a nice article on (probable) starting Quarterback, Carson Coffman. They also have a recruiting tidbit on Cameron Coffman, his younger brother that is one of the best Quarterback prospects in the class of 2011:
Younger sister Camille plays volleyball at Wyoming. Younger brother Cameron is Ray-Pec’s starting quarterback as a junior and has already committed to K-State.
Please, God, let it be so.
  • Blair Kerkhoff does a "Then and Now" piece on Bill Snyder.
  • Projected "Slash" player, Daniel Thomas, is expected to be on campus and practicing with the team soon. This is good because we could us a player with this athleticism.
  • Kevin Haskin of the Topeka Capital Journal throws a grab bag of info out there from yesterday's press conference.
  • Haskin points out that Snyder is in a new spot without Wefald, Krause, and Epps.
  • According to Tim Griffin, Bill Snyder is becoming a technophile.
  • Tight End, Jeron Mastrud, is on the Mackey Award watch list. Congratulations, Jeron!
  • A transcript of Coach's press conference and photo gallery can be found on K-Statesports.com.

I think the Cameron Coffman statement was made in error.

Based on the grumblings from other sites.

Unfortunately

yes, Cameron has not officially committed. Apparently Kierkoff mis-understood Carson during the interview.
