I guess the key question for today's basketball game is: Did Frank leave enough players alive after yesterday's practice to field a full team today?
Discuss the game and anything else you want -- including but not limited to continued commiseration after yesterday's ugly football loss -- in the comments.

Yo yo yo
Time for Frank’s fanatics to get the message and execute. Puerto Rico is just around the corner.

Still kinda ugly
Grrr…
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
We're losing 8-7
Three new players waiting to come in. I’m guessing Frank is pissed again.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Cats tie it again, 10-10
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
DENIS FOR THREE!!!
15-12 Cats. Two consecutive offensive boards for Wally.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Dom's looking like crap gain
Brings nothing on offense and now I’m not even seeing him rebound well.
I tell you what: As Nick and Wally pick up defense more and more, I’m not so sure it won’t be Dom who ends up the odd man out in the rotation. He really needs to pick up his game.

Jamar just climbed a ladder for a sick block!
And Jacob coast to coast for 2!
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Jam Sam with a potential three-point play
He keeps this up, he’s gonna take Dom’s starting spot and never look back.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Dom hasn't been in for a while
Already proving my prediction true. Jamar has just been a manimal today.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
JAM SAMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TRANSITION DUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Right before that, there were two blocks on one defensive stand
One each by Jamar and CK.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
CK hits two freebies to make it 25-16 Cats
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
By my count, Jordan, Jamar and Curtis have altered
approximately 457 shots inside already.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
1 of 11 from 3-point range
Yuck. Merriewether just took one and missed. Why on earth would he have the green light on that?
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
31-20 at halftime
Held them to 20 again. Offense is ragged. They’re getting a lot of layup looks, and our best defense there is when we get blocked shots.
Frank said we’re still a terrible basketball team right now and don’t practice well, and that we need to find a way “to hang on and win.”
Not really want you want to hear heading into P.R.

Chris gets the second-half start, instead of Dom
Interesting. Speaks volumes.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Already has blocked a shot and forced a turnover on help defense
He’s gonna play a lot this season, folks.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Jordan with a great one-hand jam follow on a missed Merriewether layup
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Denis coast-to-coast for a potential three-point play
37-20
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
MCGRUBER FOR THREE!
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Two straight backdoor cuts for Western Illinois
Frak.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Refs now calling a tight second half after a loose first half
Typical.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Lots of frosh getting in right now
Dom is MIA this half.
Rodney and Jake with consecutive threes. Starting to blow it up a little now.
The defense is feeding the offense.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
JAM SAM
Steal and DUNK FINISH!
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Jordan just altered a shot, grabbed the rebound, ran the floow and caught the back feed from Denis for a soft flying lay-in
Sick.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
JAM SAM FOR THREE!!!
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Wally with a sweet baby hook and a nice rebound.
But he missed two straight free throws. Baby steps.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
69-37
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
75-43
All frosh, except Kelly.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Wally swishes two free throws
After missing a bunch.
Freshmen and focus. What can I say?
Rodney runs the court. Now has 11 points.
JHR is in. All frosh now.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
JHR has 10 rebounds
6 points, 5 blocks
He’s gonna be AWESOME by January.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
82-50
Wally in double figures. Great footwork on that jumper.
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
82-50 final
BracketCat - November 15, 2009
Thanks for the updates, BracketCat
I missed the entire game while at a high school play that was postponed from Friday due to a power outage.

Underwood said on the TV postgame...
…that Frank was sending a message to Dom. Said that he has the potential to be one of the best defenders in the league, but he needs to be that player. Said it wasn’t anything physical (insinuated all mental). Said it was nothing more than sending a message, and thought Dom would be fine.
gw1754 - November 15, 2009
Exactly what I figured
BracketCat - November 16, 2009
Underwood also said...
…that Jamar approached the coaching staff after he started on Friday, that he is more comfortable coming off the bench. So, I would expect him to fill the 6th man role going forward.

Reminds me of Cartier Martin
Team first.
