Rosy times bring rosy links. Cloudy days bring depressing links, unless there's a silver lining somewhere. I'm still searching...
Tech TV: According to the Big 12 office, the K-State/Texas Tech game on October 4th will be broadcast on ABC starting at 2:30 p.m. I'm guessing this will be a regional broadcast, but I'd still rather this game get hidden a little more. To put it mildly, I'm not encouraged about our prospects against Tech, and am not looking forward to a TV audience getting a chance to see our tackling deficiencies, et al, again.
Bye: You'll notice I didn't say "goodbye." That's because I'm referring to Leon Patton, who was dismissed from the team after being accused of child abuse against a four-year-old boy. I hope he goes back to Dallas and gets the help he needs, because if he did that of which he is accused, I have no use for him.
Is Bill Snyder God? Jason Whitlock apparently thinks so. I'm not even going to bother.
Beasley Busted: The hits just keep on comin'.
Have a great day, Cat fans.

Not a good week for K-State
Let’s hope the next upcoming weeks will be better – not only for the sports teams, but for the publicity of the university as well.

Swift justice
I am impressed that Prince moved quickly when dealing with Patton. While most coaches would let him play or at least keep him on the squad until “the judicial system runs its course”, Prince decided to cut the snag from the line. I wish no ill will towards Leon, but if he is convicted of such abuse, he should be punished swiftly. Better for the program and the University as a whole to not have that distraction.
Oh, and yes, Snyder is God

I fear the Tech game being on ABC
Maybe it’s the general malaise that’s overcome me the past few days, but I’m just not in the mood to watch the Cats get embarassed on national TV again. I’m just not.
Oh well. At least Tech doesn’t even try to run the football…

What scares me...
…is that Leach has shown a little more commitment to the running game this year, and Shannon Woods has looked really good. If they run a balanced offense at us…(shudder)

It probably won't matter much to me
I plan on attending every game from here on out as blitzed as I can be. It will help dull the pain.

Yeah
I’ll be at the Tech game. I just hope I get to see one open-field tackle.

And...
Hopefully it will be from our defense.

I don't think it was a 4 year-old...
I think it was a 2 month-old boy. Poor guy can’t even hold his head up at that age. >:o(
