I'm sick to my stomach right now. I've spent the entire morning reading and watching reports about the tornado that moved through the Manhattan area and laid a direct hit on the K-State campus. Sounds like several buildings on campus were badly damaged, and other areas of Manhattan had houses and buildings destroyed. But as bad as it is, we can all be very, very thankful that apparently nobody in town was killed.
Our friends in Chapman, Kan., apparently weren't so lucky. Reports indicate the town is 80-90 percent damaged and two were killed.
For now, please stay away from campus and other heavily damaged areas, for your own safety and for the convenience of those who are there in an official capacity. There will be plenty of opportunity later to demonstrate the spirit of true K-Staters by getting out there to lend a hand.

Thanks, bailey
Thanks for posting the pictures. Sounds like the cleanup is going well. I wish I could get out there to help.
