…I had never seen this before, but I got a bottle of Dr. Pepper today in some little podunk town in Texas that was made w/ pure cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup, and it was fucking good. I never knew I could love Dr. Pepper more than I already did.
Good luck w/ that storm tonight, I hear it’s supposed to be pretty bad.
Another OT: When it snowed down here in Houston the other day, I went to a buddy’s house to stay the night because my heater isn’t working (so it was about 55 degrees in my house). As I was driving over there at about 10:30 p.m., I noticed the freaking underground sprinklers were running in my neighborhood.
I had seen it all. Sprinklers running w/ snow coming down.
My buddy, an Auburn grad, offered to trade me Gene Chizik for Bill Snyder, straight-up. He said he’d throw in their AD and QB to sweeten the pot. We may have our reservations about what Wefald and Krause are doing, but let’s all thank God we’re not Auburn fans tonight.
I remember how Clemente said he was really nervous before the first game because he hadn’t played in a year. Maybe when we step up a little and play better competition, the guys get tight and, for lack of a better phrase, try too hard.
…of how to really lay into someone, check this out. The Mayor rides again. My only real disagreement is that the state of Texas deserves someone better than him.
Thanks again, Pan
I should be back to normal operations by next weekend.
TB - December 14, 2008
Good start
Not even to the first media TO and already scored 12 points.
12-6 Cats right now
TB - December 14, 2008
15-8 KSU
Don’t know much about what’s going on. Passport keeps freezing up.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
GD computers
TB - December 14, 2008
Kind of frustrating...
I get all of the timeouts, but it freezes during the action.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
By the way...
…it just broke my heart to see KU lose to UMass yesterday.
TB - December 14, 2008
Oh, me too
I mean…they were just on the doorstep back to greatness
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
KSU busted out the lavendars again...
They’re growing on me.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Love it
Can’t wait til they’re available for sale. I’ll be an owner.
TB - December 14, 2008
That was a sick block by Jamar.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
KSU is hitting some nice shots. Good ball movement. Solid defense.
Up 21-10.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
I'd like to see them...
…really run someone out of the gym. Just once. No matter the competition, that helps a team’s confidence.
TB - December 14, 2008
Looks like we're in one of our offensive slowdowns
Only 18 points now w/ 13 minutes to play.
TB - December 14, 2008
Not to be mean, but it's games like this...
prove DK would have been good at a smaller school.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Yeah...
TB - December 14, 2008
25-10 Cats, just under 11 mins. to go
Now for the important question: Is Frank behaving himself on the sidelines? That is paramount.
TB - December 14, 2008
From what I can see, yes.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Jake is so money when he shoots inside the perimeter.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Transition three for Jake
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
One of those...
…“NoNoNo…….Yes!” shots, huh?
TB - December 14, 2008
Big time
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
By the way...
…I had never seen this before, but I got a bottle of Dr. Pepper today in some little podunk town in Texas that was made w/ pure cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup, and it was fucking good. I never knew I could love Dr. Pepper more than I already did.
That is all. Carry on.
TB - December 14, 2008
I had that with RC once, and I've craved it ever since
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Makes me wonder...
…if “pure cane sugar” is code for “pure Colombian cocaine.”
Sorry, if you can’t tell, I can’t get over how heavenly this Dr. Pepper was.
TB - December 14, 2008
Find more and bring some back. We'll drink them as we watch the "History" DVD's.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Oh, have no fear
If I can find it, I will be bringing a couple cases of it back to KC next weekend.
TB - December 14, 2008
Pullen was WIDE open on that three
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
I hate to say this, because I understand the financial implications...
But the Briggs logos on the court are so cheesy. It’s like our court is a NASCAR car.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
I hate it, too
Just put it on the sideline advertisements, like most schools do. I love money, but that’s too much.
TB - December 14, 2008
Very athletic shot by Sutton to get fouled.
I love that kid.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
37-14 Cats
Gotta love the way they’ve come out. Yes, yes, I realize it’s G-W, but it’s impressive that they aren’t just going through the motions.
TB - December 14, 2008
OT: It's sleeting so hard here that it sounds like hail
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
That sucks ass
Good luck w/ that storm tonight, I hear it’s supposed to be pretty bad.
Another OT: When it snowed down here in Houston the other day, I went to a buddy’s house to stay the night because my heater isn’t working (so it was about 55 degrees in my house). I had seen it all. Sprinklers running w/ snow coming down.
TB - December 14, 2008
Oh, it's kiss cam time!
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Pan, breathe. BREATHE!
Deeeeep breaths.
TB - December 14, 2008
It's such an abomination.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Another OT, w/ the Cats up 45-19
My buddy, an Auburn grad, offered to trade me Gene Chizik for Bill Snyder, straight-up. He said he’d throw in their AD and QB to sweeten the pot. We may have our reservations about what Wefald and Krause are doing, but let’s all thank God we’re not Auburn fans tonight.
TB - December 14, 2008
Amen.
I can’t believe they’re that stupid.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
50-21, 3:35 to go 1st half
TB - December 14, 2008
I don't get why we've struggled against BCS teams so much...
They look dominating over these types of teams.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
At least part mental, probably
I remember how Clemente said he was really nervous before the first game because he hadn’t played in a year. Maybe when we step up a little and play better competition, the guys get tight and, for lack of a better phrase, try too hard.
TB - December 14, 2008
Yep, not much of a competive game
Oh, yeah, Panjandrum, make sure that your furnace vents are all open in your basement….
101Grunt - December 14, 2008
Any reason why it should be open?
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
pipes may freeze
101Grunt - December 14, 2008
Man, if you want to see a fine example...
…of how to really lay into someone, check this out. The Mayor rides again. My only real disagreement is that the state of Texas deserves someone better than him.
TB - December 14, 2008
Halftime: 59-28
Well, I’m out. Good showing against a bad team.
Three more days until finals are over. Then we will be back to regularly scheduled programming around here.
TB - December 14, 2008
Good Lord
59 in the first half.
mystman995 - December 14, 2008
Adios man.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
If anyone is wondering why we haven't commented more...
This game is a rout. It’s 96-40 with a little under eight to go in the second half.
Fred Brown has hit six three’s and has eighteen points.
Basically, they can’t miss tonight.
Panjandrum - December 14, 2008
Did this same team lose to OU by four?
Wild.
MadCat - December 15, 2008
Yes.
